Inspiration #1: Princess Luna

Artist's note: I did promised that I would a 10 picture series. Thank all the characters that have inspired me to into the present art that I have today. So here is my first one. 

Princess Luna: 

What can I say about the lovely Princess Luna. One thing is for sure. She is my favorite princess out of the MLP series and the very pony that got me into  drawing ponies in the first place. Yes I do love Cadence and she has fallen to my second favorite out of the princesses and Zacora is my favorite unique pony (Zebra). But when Nightmare Moon turned back into the adorable Luna. I just decided to start drawing ponies. Yes, she might not have a huge affect on my artwork regarding style. However, she made me more excepting to the Pony world and pegasister culture. ^^ 

As for the art itself, I didn't know which Luna style I should go with. Should I go with the first season of her appearance or her now more regal appearance in the show in later seasons? Well, because I didn't choose one over the other. I decided to try incorporated them both especially through the hair. Using the color of the first season Luna and then making it darker with the stars in the later seasons. Also, the background is suppose to give off a starry night, dream like vibe. Since Princess Luna goes watch over all dreams through Equestria. So thank you Luna, thank you for pulling me into a wonderful wonderful universe.
